Osama Bin Laden is the ultimate "suicide bomber". At the expense of his life, he pretty much "killed" America as intended. We call ours a success but what have we actually gained from his death? A perceived sense of security? An ever-expanding national debt? The suicide bombers will not simply shrivel up and die if they remain passionate about the cause (which is likely given that they claim religious reasoning).
Additionally, since the event Americans have basically spat in the face of all would-be terrorists and the Islamic extremists. If we had the upper hand, it may not be a problem. However, we are TRILLIONS of dollars in debt. Not merely typical debts, but debts specifically pertaining to the "War on Terror". What foundation remains for us to stand on?
Osama Bin Laden is not the one that took the bait, he is the one that LAID the trap. Our Government took the bait. Specifically after 9/11.
